Mycommunity is planning to offer free DNA barcoding of fungi starting this year. The aim of this project is to rapidly increase knowledge of Australian fungi, and to offer a local sequencing service to citizen mycologists.
We are still working out the logistics and what kind of records need to be kept for specimens. Signing up to this register will mean we will keep you updated on this project and how you can participate, including sending in specimens.
